Red Dot realizes that quality products are a must in being a World Class supplier. Achieving ISO 9001 certification was an important step in developing an integrated quality system. Red Dot encourages employee participation in our quality system by giving control of the process back to the operator with the respect and confidence that goes with the assignment. Quality Assurance personnel merely perform a statistically reliable audit function. Red Dot's commitment to recognizing the value of employee involvement has resulted in quality efforts shifted from reactive to proactive activities. Red Dot's Quality Program focuses on employee input and training through the use of its quality review system.

In addition the Quality Group participates in the evolution of new product design. Further responsibilities include: review of customer drawings and specifications; receiving inspection; determination of in-process inspection points; determination of inspection and test procedures; maintenance of quality records; supplier quality assurance; calibration of tools, gauges and test equipment; coordination of in-plant action regarding all rejected materials; and assurance that all inspection personnel are trained and capable of rendering unbiased decisions.

Many major vehicle manufacturers have selected Red Dot as an outstanding quality supplier. Having established a consistent high quality level, these companies move Red Dot product to the production line without receiving inspection. In recent years, Red Dot was assessed by Fiat under EN29000, Freightliner Corporation, and Pierce Manufacturing. In all cases, Red Dot exceeded the customer's expectations.
Red Dot also perferms warranty analysis and settlement, returned goods controls and an overview of field service activity.
